BCIC: Black chick in charge-Elaine

Avo has been an amazing launching pad for me. From the time I joined in 2003 to now, I have been able to do so many things and learn so much.

When Avo was part of giving birth to Ngikwazi Field Marketing, I so enjoyed being part of the operational launch team, I ended up spending more time there than at Avo. So now I’m full time in Ngikwazi space as head of Organisational Development, and keeping an eye on our asset….!

But a huge part of my heart still lies in the Avo space, and I continue to contribute as a strategic sounding board and BEE partner.

Elaine. What would Avo do without you? Jules jokes about her 3% steady/green/amiable personality. She steers the ship, watches the horizon and looks into the global future. You stand beside her and keep an eye on the height of the waves and the mood of the crew. Your faith and deep love for every single one of us makes us dig deeper and pull harder. Have a super bosses’ day girl friend (boss to be)! Hope you’re feeling better today after the emotional day (week) you’ve had.
