Two Hearts Are Better Than One
Published by jeanette March 18th, 2006 in General, Avo in the mediaAvo was featured in the Star Workplace recently in an article highlighting the fact that Avo is remarkable in more ways than one.
Besides being run by two awesome and inspiring woman - that would be Jules & Elaine - both Jules and Elaine’s husbands Grant & Glen, also work at Avo. But thats not all -this sounds like a Verimark advert - there are also two other married couples, as well as two couples who are in long term relationships and a few mothers & daughters & aunts & nieces. (Eat your heart out Verimark!!).
Once again, in true Avoness style, this proves that two hearts are better than one!!

It’s so interesting, the type of feedback that this article has provoked. It was so beautifully written by Tho Garrun!
One of my old clients Maria Beffon, has just recently had to resign from a very senior exec position at National Brands because she and the FD just got married. There isn’t really a paradigm that has set up a positive spin on couples working together: the dominant logic is that it can’t be a good thing, and powerful potential partnerships are dissolved, just because of a prevailing paradigm! (you gotta LOVE the alliteration of that!)
Well, so far at Avo, we’re loving it - and Grant and I have been working together for almost 10 years already! And the other coupes are finding fabulous ways in whch to enable one another.
It is wonderful to be able to form such a successful work partnership with the man that i am married to. It really makes me feel that my relationship is that much stronger! Jules, thanks for the opportunity for Clint and I to explore my potential. xxx
You 2 are a fabulous team!
