“the need to win drains him of power” hmmmm….any kind of neediness has that affect. money comes easily to wealthy people, married people get propositioned and the bank will only lend you money if you don’t need to lend money. ironic, but true. the trick is to fake it until you make it, i suppose? or just to get on with it and not worry too much. zen…

To me it speaks about the realization of my purpose here. There is so much merit in what Sharon, Carla and Matchy have said.We spend our life time waiting or chasing the next big thing,yet if we look around for all our material wealth we seem oh so dissatisfied and unfulfilled. Maybe as Match and Carla have said it’s about the hearts and minds we touch along the way. Is that not what we are here for , to touch the lives of others…

This is such a profound message to me. We often put so much unnecessary pressure on ourselves that we don’t enjoy doing those things that we love! May we always find ways to love our life without trying to hold up the biggest trophy. The prize is so much bigger than that!

For me it has always been the journey and not the finish line. Life is not a dress rehearsal and we should not live it according to the prize at the finish line. The gold comes in very different ways every single day, could be in the form of a very special person, how many of your prizes have you left along the way??? The poem speaks heaps to me, thank you for the reminder. MM
