I’m a sports psychologist and executive coah. I worked independently for the last 10 years helping corporations and athletes all over the world achieve peak performance. I’ve applied the lessons learnt from professional athletes very successfully in the corporate world.
My experience includes many industries, across different roles, functions and levels within organisations and from extreme to mainstream athletes. I’ve been involved in the preparation of athlete’s climbing Everest, professional tennis and golf players on the international circuit and free divers competing in world championships.
Prior to this I spent 6 years in the financial services industry managing a large team. In addition I also worked for an international management consultancy involving both business and leadership work.
My approach is to educate, support and teach clients how to manage performance levels especially under pressure. I have also developed a holistic coaching model called The Corporate Athlete which focuses on managing the clients from a performance and wellness perspective.
If you would like to select Sean as a coach, email Carla-jo Barry.

Hey Sean
Welcome to the Avo Blogg site, lovely having you on board and part of the team !
Regards
Elaine
Here you are, at last! A tangible member of the Avo family. Loving your work, baby!
Hi Sean,
I happened across the avo website after speaking to a friend and came across your introduction. I am the chariman of a non-profit football academy in Soweto and am keen to make it as globally compettive as the more commercial academies around the world and SA. We would like to institute a number of projects and activities that faciltitate the development of our players to make them nationally competitive. I have always believed in the importance of the mind in producing desired outcomes, albeit long-term or short-term.
If you see any possible opportunities for yourself, I will be grateful for the opportunity to chat about involving you in the process.
regards,
Stuart Miller,
Chariman, Amathole Football Academy
I am a new client of SEAN ……………. in a Nutshell he is amazing!
BUT he should come with a warning - only to be contacted if
“you are prepared to have your whole world, outlook and every paradigm you ever had TOTALLY changed.”
The ride is worth it because the results are fantastic!
Thanks to the AVO’s for the intro………….you Ladies (and the gentelemen) truly make live changing events happen.
PS Golfers - Sean is the best golf teacher I have ever had (and he doesn’t even play)
